Laser & Aesthetic Center of Jacksonville

Family-Owned Medspa — Established 1996

A medspa, perfected over thirty years.

Founded in 1996 by Tracy Abbosh as a specialty hair removal practice, Laser & Aesthetic Center has spent nearly three decades evolving into Jacksonville’s longest-running independent medspa. Today, under second-generation ownership, we offer the same family-operated care alongside an expanded clinical skin care practice — BBL HEROIC, Moxi, SkinPen microneedling, medical-grade chemical peels, and customized facials, in addition to the laser and electrolysis treatments we built our name on.

Our two disciplines

We don’t consider ourselves a hair-removal practice that dabbles in skin care. Both sides of the medspa are clinical, equipped, and delivered by licensed professionals.

Skin Care

A full clinical skin-care practice with medical oversight. Treatments are diagnostic, results-driven, and chosen for your skin type and goals — not packaged.

  • • HydraFacial & custom 80-minute facials
  • • BBL HEROic, Moxi & laser skin treatments (Sciton platform)
  • • SkinPen microneedling & medical-grade chemical peels
  • • Dermaplaning & SkinBetter Science skincare

Delivered by licensed medical aestheticians under physician oversight (Dr. Earl Eye, Medical Director).

Hair Removal

The practice we built our name on. Long-term laser hair reduction plus electrolysis — permanent, follicle-by-follicle removal that works on every hair color and skin type.

  • • Laser hair removal on the Candela GentleMax Pro
  • • Permanent electrolysis, performed individually per follicle
  • • Specialty cases — gray hair, darker skin tones, transgender care
  • • Condition-specific care for ingrown hairs & pilonidal cysts

Delivered by state-registered electrologists and certified laser clinicians, board-certified in clinical electrology.

From electrolysis to advanced aesthetics

What began as a dedicated permanent hair-removal practice has grown into a full medspa — offering laser skin resurfacing, advanced clinical treatments, and medical-grade skincare alongside the laser hair removal and electrolysis our reputation was built on.
