Electrolysis Hair Removal

When electrolysis is the right tool
Electrolysis treats each follicle individually with a fine probe. It does not rely on pigment, so it works on any hair color — including gray, white, red, and very blonde hair the laser cannot reliably target — and across all skin tones.
For pigmented hair on most clients, laser hair removal is faster and our usual recommendation. Electrolysis is the right choice when laser is not effective on a given hair, when an area is too small or too pigment-poor for laser, or when the goal is to clean up the last few hairs after a course of laser.
Sessions are shorter and the total course depends on the area and density. We map out an estimate at your free consultation so you know what to expect.

Frequently asked questions
- When should I choose electrolysis over laser?
- When the hair is gray, red, or very blonde (the laser targets pigment, so it cannot see those hairs well), when the area is very small, or when you want to finish a course of laser by cleaning up any remaining individual hairs.
- Does electrolysis hurt?
- You may feel a brief warmth or pinch at each follicle. Sensitivity varies by area; most clients tolerate sessions well, and we work at a comfortable pace.
- How long does treatment take?
- Because each follicle is treated individually, electrolysis is a series of shorter sessions over time. The total depends on the area and hair density — we map an estimate at your consultation.
- Can it treat any hair color?
- Yes. Unlike laser, electrolysis does not rely on pigment, so it works on every hair color — including gray, white, red, and blonde — and all skin tones.
