- What should I expect from a HydraFacial?
- A multi-step treatment that cleanses, exfoliates, extracts, and hydrates using vortex technology. It’s comfortable, takes 30–90 minutes depending on tier, and leaves skin glowing immediately with zero downtime. Safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- How much downtime does BBL HEROic have?
- Most clients have mild redness and warmth (similar to a light sunburn) for a few hours. Pigmented spots typically darken for 3–7 days before flaking off naturally. You can resume normal activities the same day; avoid heat, sweat, and direct sun for 48 hours and use SPF daily.
- Who is a good candidate for MOXI?
- MOXI is a gentle, non-ablative fractional laser suited to most skin types and tones, including darker skin where some lasers are not appropriate. It’s a strong fit for early signs of aging, dullness, sun damage, and uneven tone, and for clients who want results with minimal downtime (a "sandpaper" feel for a few days).
- What is the aftercare for a chemical peel?
- Keep the skin clean and hydrated, avoid heat and sun, and skip retinoids, exfoliants, and active acids for about a week. Mild flaking or peeling is normal for 3–7 days depending on the peel — do not pick at it. Daily SPF is essential. We give you a written aftercare card with your specific peel.
- How long until I see results from microneedling?
- You’ll see an initial glow within a week as the skin recovers. The deeper collagen and elastin response builds over 4–6 weeks, with continued improvement out to about 3 months. Most clients do a series of 3–4 sessions, 3–4 weeks apart, for the best result.
- How often should I get treatments?
- It varies — many treatments are done in a series of 3 (often 3–4 weeks apart) with periodic maintenance. We build a cadence around your skin goals at your consultation.
- Are you a dermatology office?
- No — we are a medspa, not a dermatology practice. We do not diagnose or treat skin disease, and we do not offer mole removal, MOHS surgery, or skin-cancer care; for medical skin concerns, please see a board-certified dermatologist. What we do offer is clinical aesthetic care: laser hair removal, electrolysis, MOXI and BBL HEROic laser treatments, chemical peels, microneedling, HydraFacial, and medical-grade facials.
- Will I see results immediately?
- Some treatments give an immediate glow (HydraFacial, dermaplaning); collagen-building treatments like microneedling and MOXI improve over the following weeks as your skin regenerates.
